Well, I was on site for the past week completing a Sametime / Quickplace
to 651 so I am behind the possy on upgrading my blog server, but now I’m
up and running on ND7. Not one crash so far.

Not had much time to post recently. In the past two weeks, I have
set-up an unusual Blackberry installation for one customer site and today
finished my first live SIP proof of concept installation with a customer.
Once the DNS entries were sorted out, it worked a charm and I must
say, after seeing it in operation with real customers, there was an immediate
business benefit to be gained. Immediately our customer could just
post questions to the office regarding dates, pricing, licenses and could
see when the support staff were on-line, and then post a question to them.
A few overseas friends of mine have asked how the no-smoking ban has gone
over here. For those that don’t know, no smoking is permitted in
any workplace in Ireland since last week. Yes, this includes pubs.
