Running Blogsphere 2 Beta1

Just upgraded to the latest
Blogsphere template
.  One
of the main features is the integration of the Open Notes Picture Database
into blogsphere.  I will be messing around with it a bit and adding
in a few snaps..

Update..  A few issues with importing
pictures.  EZ Thumbnail and Imagemagick are both installed but not
being detected.  Will investigate and post.

Have you resaved ALL the configuration documents, especially the new photo config document.

Yep, but will do again anyway. Also compacting and running updall -R to be sure.

    well it is a beta

The detection is done by looking for specific registry keys for the software. The install of EZ Thumbnail should put the registry bits in automatically and the ImageMagick install you need to specify the Windows OLE bit to get the registry keys set correctly.

Found the bug but can’t explain it…

The form ‘importprofile’ detects the registry key for the software to see if it’s installed. This form has a ‘header’ and when the header is removed the import detects the software with no problems. I’m not sure why the header is doing this to the detection. It’s a bit weird.

Anyway, edit the form and remove the header.. All will be fine then. I’ve fixed this for the next release.
