Release date for XDA2s and XDA2a/i in Ireland

Most of you know my woes about losing
my phone in the US in January.
 At that point, there was 2 new XDA models out on the market in the
UK so I said I would wait until they were available in Ireland.  It
wouldn’t take long, would it?  Well its the same GPRS settings on
the new XDA isn’t it?  Surely it can’t take long….

Still using my old (and very trustworthy)
Nokia 7110 which I have had since 1999.  I thought I would put up
the image to remind people of what was cutting edge a while ago (infra
red and WAP – kewl) Today, after numerous phone calls and been told blatant
WRONG information from O2, they let me know that they are expected to be
on the market in two weeks time (around 15th April).  No pricing as
yet.  Just thought I would let ye all know.  Well done O2.  Just
like Eircom, Ireland is playing catchup as ever…
