The Lotusphere 2010 hog ride

Last year, some biker geeks rented/brought
their own harleys and went riding for a day before Lotusphere.   Bill
Buchan has
revived
it
and its on again just before
Lotusphere 2010.  Booking bikes for the 16 and 17 January.  Ordering
them from
here
and collecting them from their
disney branch.

I have to do it this year!  Bike
booked and ready to go.  If you plan on joining us, just order your
bike and put "Buchan party" in the comments section for a discount.
Plan is to meet at 11am outside the dolphin on your bike on the Saturday
morning.  From there we go to Cocoa beach or Cape Canaveral.  Keep
the bikes for the evening and take them out again the next day.  And
this is my one.. ;)

That is not a proper Harley. That is a Porsche with a Harley badge. Emoticon

Robert says he will go too if he can get a Fireblade, R1, a 1098 or, at a push, an RSV4. Other than that, keep your tractors and your pseudo-American symbols.

I take no responsibility for this comment. I only know what 2 of the bikes are. He was ranting.

Stephen, there are no bendy roads in FL. Robert is bringing the wrong bike.

I usually rent a car and drive up from Ft. Lauderdale, but I do remember Bill talking about this last year and how much fun he had (although I do remember a few jacket-less pictures of him where he looked…well cold, some kind of baggage snafu I was told. This puts an interesting twist on my potention plans, perhaps I will trailer the bike up if my company finally decides to send me this year.

@volker Sometimes it’s better to just let him rant.

Ask Paul to show you the texts about brake pads Robert made me type to Paul.

Paul, Really wish I was going and I would deffo do the ride out. Personally for me it would have to be on a Goldwing! Yeah,I know – couch on wheels, but rode my bothers ‘Wing in California and its just the bizz. A crotch rocket is certainly not the bike for the FL roads (IMHO). Looking forward to the pictures. Come on Paul. Be serious. Even on a low rider, your feet won’t touch the ground!!! Emoticon

Don’t feel bad Paul, that was the main reason I choose the HD Heritage Classic, it was the only model I could plant my feet flatly on terra firma. Emoticon

    sigh.

    I have a motorcycle license. I really can drive/ride a ‘cycle.

but alas, i arrive at 10:55 am or MCO. Thus, not enough time to join the crew.

Have a great time without me!Emoticon
