Take your journal, doc library and teamroom with you using unplugged

I don’t use the Notes journal application.  But I know many customers that have users that do.  With roaming their journal goes everywhere, and although there are methods of deploying the content to devices, I harped on at Teamstudio to make the journal offline as a default, free template with unplugged.  Well, they have done that, and a bit more.

Teamstudio today announced the addition of 3 standard Domino Templates to their ‘Unplugged’ portfolio, adding support for the Lotus Notes/Domino Teamroom, Document Library and Journal/Notebook templates.

IBM Lotus Notes Teamroom provides users with a collaborative team-space for short term project management, the IBM Lotus Notes Document Library delivers centralised information storage for systems as diverse as policies, procedures and shared information, while the Journal/Notebook database allows users to store personal reference information in an easy to manage repository.

Go get it .. here.  Installing unplugged is very very simple.  These templates are free (obviously the software is not but it is cheaper than you may think).

Update: Teamstudio’s post on the template functionality (you may know the guy that wrote them!)

Update:  @TheStudioAngel has given me blessing to publish the UKLUG presentation on how to install and deploy Unplugged, step by step.  It is on my resources page.
