Connect 2013
I have very little to say about the conference last week. For the first time in 8 Lotuspheres I won’t blabber on about the content and the sessions. Like a few others, it is a week I will very much want to forget. Unfortunately, like those few, that will not happen for a long time. What I can say is that I saw the best in people last week, during awful circumstances. Be them emergency services, IBM staff, fellow friends and community members. On behalf of the other guys that rent out bikes, thank you to all of you.
I know every person in the image above. For all of our bickering, if you meet any of these folks, you are in excellent company.
It’s all about people.

Whatever happened, it was a pleasure to see you on stage! Appreciate your sessions as they are from “the real world”!

Understandable Paul. Thanks for sharing your content with us, and if you need to talk, there are many in the community that will lend your their ear.

You will never forget what happened. You must give it a place and try to live with it.
Find someone to talk with, someone who understand your feelings. After all what happened, you did well at the conference.
Take care
