pulling my hair out

which is a terrible thing to do as my hair is falling out at a rate of knots anyway....
Why?  I spent the afternoon creating a lengthy MS Word document with about a 20 page table.  Not a complicated table mind you, just a few different widths here and there...  I jest you not, my laptop was almost fired out of the window.  For all the complaints I used to hear about Lotus Notes' text editing capabilities (especially table creation), it "did what it said on the tin".  It worked.. nothing fancy, but it worked.  MSWord has just taken over my table, resizing, repaginating, undoing settings I placed in.  I really thought someone was taking control of my machine just trying to screw up my day.
Where is that Open Office CD?

3 - Physician, heal thyself. You already know the answer - Open Office - and you don't even need the CD. Just download it. I use it all the time and I don't miss MS Office one bit.
