An ND7.02 feature I was not aware of

QuickImage Category

This is good - and will come in useful (taken from release notes)

When you address a mail message, Notes can now look into the server address book first, instead of the user's personal address book.  To use this feature, choose 'Server then Local' in the "Mail addressing" field shown below.  Note that this field is only visible if your mail file location is set to "Local".  IBM is investigating having this feature available for Server-based mail files in a future release.

1 - bit disappointed that Server then Local is local mailfile only so far - this update is a major selling point, along with Archive by creation date, of our planned 6.5-7.0.x migration.

This will reduce instances of Notes address matching sending mail to the wrong recipient outside our domain, which is usually more troublesome than when the mistaken recipient is a member of the same domain.

2 - Nice idea, but pretty limited benefit.

What happens if the server isn't available?

3 - Wow! How advanced! The mail client is really coming along...

4 - @2 I totally agree with both points--can't wait for Lotus to offer this option for server-based mail locations, too! We also have occasional problems with people sending to the wrong person or wrong address (personal email address of a co-worker). Great idea, Lotus!!

5 - It would be nice if they did the same thing for "Recipient name type-ahead"
