Took this afternoon off work to get final
bits and pieces done.

• Collect business cards (you need them
  at lotusphere)

• Buy some bits and pieces
• Pack
• Print everything needed
• Charge everything needed
• Realise I hated the flow of one of my
  presentations, and started to hack away at it

• Chase Bill Buchan about prep time scheduling
• Review another Lotusphere IDOL presentation

  And that’s it.  I head to Gatwick
  from Belfast City airport in the morning, then onto Orlando.  The
  yellowverse gets quiet as people are on the road.  Feel free to follow

Just a few blackberries, my work blackberry,
my iPhone3G, MBP, Apple Express, Camera, and a wide variety of other junk.
 Oh yes, clothes and stuff too.

• Review Adminblast session.
• Work though my half of the Worst Practices
  session (believe it or not we practice that session)

• Start to pack a few pieces
• Answer a bucket of invitations to various
  events at Lotusphere

• Read a few emails that I shouldn’t of
  been copied in on (interesting stuff)

• Figure out flights and checkin details

After the day job

• Get a BES server and 4 devices up and
  running for my Blackberry
  demo session on policies with Gab.

• Review a Lotusphere IDOL session and
  offer advice

• Work on GSX demo
• Review my SNT session on DAOS and check
  timings

I will be presenting a session on "real
world" monitoring and using GSX Monitor on Monday, Jan 18th at 2.15pm
during Lotusphere.  I will cover monitoring in general and also how
GSX monitor works in the wild.

It won’t be "salesy" – I will
aim to demo and discuss from experience.

How are you getting there?

Gabriella Davis and I have been asked to
present a session on behalf of Blackberry at Lotusphere.  The session
will cover policies on BES, what they are and how to use them.  Currently
scheduled for 2pm on Wednesday.  We will blog the location when we
have it.  Hope to see you there!

Last year, some biker geeks rented/brought
their own harleys and went riding for a day before Lotusphere.   Bill
Buchan has revived
it and its on again just before
Lotusphere 2010.  Booking bikes for the 16 and 17 January.  Ordering
them from here
and collecting them from their
disney branch.

I have to do it this year!  Bike
booked and ready to go.  If you plan on joining us, just order your
bike and put "Buchan party" in the comments section for a discount.
 Plan is to meet at 11am outside the dolphin on your bike on the Saturday
morning.  From there we go to Cocoa beach or Cape Canaveral.  Keep
the bikes for the evening and take them out again the next day.  And
this is my one.. ;)
