BE Systems sponsors Breakfast at UKLUG

BE
Systems
will be sponsoring breakfast
at
UKLUG
on Friday morning (19th September).
At this, we will be discussing the custom Domino on Linux courses
we offer (highly recommended) and Java development courses to boot.  Also,
I will be discussing how companies using Domino can implement small/medium
or large scale encryption of internet email, without worrying about certificates,
encrypted zip files or TLS.  Very, very worth attending.  Even
if you have a hangover (I will) there will be plenty for you to discuss.

UKLUG event this week

Over 300 people are now registered for
the FREE 2-day UKLUG event held next Thursday and Friday in London.  If
you are looking for details, click
here.
Needless to say, it is shaping up to be an excellent event, in an
excellent location.   We have even managed to fit in another session.
Matt White and I will present together for the first time next Friday,
giving a quick run through of Domino 8.5 from a technical perspective,
including DAOS and the ID Vault, and xPages on the dev side.  Expect
few slides and many demos as we try to give our opinions of how these products
will work in production, and what we think of them so far.  I don’t
doubt that this session will lead to many discussions on the "when
will we upgrade" topic for the rest of the event.  To my knowledge
Matt White has done more on xPages at this stage then anyone else, and
don’t let his mild manners fool you.  Matt can/is very honest with
his technical opinion.
