As part of the job, travel is standard and I often try to remind myself how lucky I am to see beautiful places and not become complacent. That is tough when you are doing constant 4am starts to small citys where you never see anything other then a hotel room, the job or the airport. This evening I flew into dusseldorf for the first time. From the moment we left the airport, I was impressed. A visually stunning city, and one of the citys that falls into my ‘will visit again but not for work’ list. I am only here for a night, and then head to london but the place has that lovely parisian, laid back feel. Hopefully I will see some more over the evening.
