Hey Paul... where the posts??

Well, a few things happening at the moment.  Work is busy, very busy with customers determined to finalise or complete projects by year-end.  This has lead to many weekends working and quite a few late nights.  Add to the mix that my super-dooper desktop died (yes I had a backup from the night previously) and a few other things:
  • Rebuilding the SIP gateway before Lotusphere (so anyone can test SIP that is interested in learning)
  • Trying to get my Lotusphere presentation complete (with Bill of course)
  • Responding to a few interesting (and some quite aggressive) emails in relation to a recent post.
Normal abnormal stories will resume shortly....., but yes, I am alive.

1 - Christmas can't come soon enough. The few days off will be most welcome.

I'd be interested in taking a SIP of your gateway when you get it up and running!

I run all my calls over SIP from home now. The quality's great and the cost saving is massive (always good to get one over on Eircom).

I use a Sipura 3000 ATA to connect the ordinary phones in the house to the SIP gateway I use (which is blueface.ie). So for everyone else in the house there's absolutely no change to how they use the phones.

I would like to delve a bit further into it though. Push the auld envelope a bit.

2 - Let me see , Christmas is upon us, its the party season, Mr. Mooney goes very quiet and then tries to claim work and technical difficulties as the reason.

I think its OK to admit that you are not blogging because you are partying.
