The Microsoft Application Analyser is gone!

QuickImage Category

I am sure I am not the first to notice this.  But the link to the Application analyser seems to have been removed from the MS site, to be replaced with a "coming soon" statement.  Look what happens if you click on the original link.  Well,  the link to the readme.txt file still works.  I linked to that in my earlier post.
What does this tell you?   I know what this tells me.  Next year, before Lotusphere, MS will make sure that they have a product to release that does something useful..... or they will just shut the hell up.  Has Redmond been caught out here?  How possibly could this be spun? Any suggestions?

Comments

1 - readme.txt now also 404 compliant - at least from here...

2 - Nice one. Will they remove the press release too ?

Or will we wake up in the shower one morning, and everything will have changed ? Oh - hang on - that was "Dallas", not "Redmond"...

3 - That's right up there with the migration white paper that we all found and blogged about, and that then disappeared after 36 hours...

4 - Agreed Chris... Possilbly this was me though. The file could have been in my cache and I didn't notice or try to purge then reload. It was pretty late last night when I noticed! Either way, it was there 24 hours ago!
