Light the birthday candles....pmooney.net - 2 years old

I almost forgot.  Its two years since I kicked off with this blog site with this post.  It seems to be tradition that the community hit an introspective moment at our anniversaries.  At this stage, I am amazed that this site is only two years old.  I feel like I have been doing this forever.  So many things have happened to during that period, both professionally and personally, that I barely know where to start.  So, some of the highlights (and lowlights) were:
  • Getting two dogs (I hate the little feckers but they keep me amused)
  • Going to Lotusphere 2005 and thinking the entire event could never be topped
  • Going to Lotusphere 2006 and realising it could be
  • Meeting some of the nicest and smartest people I have ever been fortunate enough to know (There are faaarrrr too many of you, but most of ye are on the right hand side of the site)
  • Setting up the Irish Lotus User Group and actually making people turn up
  • Getting drunk in several different countries with earlier mentioned people....
  • Having a friend take their own life, and being involved in the storm that followed
  • Using my TV less and less
  • Using my PC's more and more
  • Getting to know IBM/Lotus in a whole different way... and a far more positive one
  • Speaking at Lotusphere....'nuff said about that
  • Turning 30... what a pisser
  • Moving from a "who the hell would read this site" to now getting a reasonably respectable hit-count

Well, that's just some of the things.  So many things are happening this year as a result of work and this site, that I cannot believe that it is already March (almost).  In the blink of an eye, I will see you guys in Orlando again.  So... as usual... the floor is open now.  What do you like here?  What don't you like?  Any comments?
