Question on ServerTransInfoRange

Considering turning this into a SNTT post in the next few weeks as many people/sites do not understand the newer Server Availability Index and TransInfoRange setting.  In order to get useful results from SAI recently on new servers, I had to raise the TransInfoRange setting as high as 25.  If you have it configured, have you ever had to configure it with that value?

1 - When we upgraded to 6.5 IBM had us put it at 40. When we went to 7, we noticed problems with clustering not occurring quickly enough. IBM had us bump the server_trans_info setting to 60 which seemed to stop our clustering issue.

They explained the reason, but it was one of those explanations you only understand after they go over it a dozen times and then you eventually forget anyway.

2 - We've got ours at 43 for 6.5.5 on large AIX servers -- and we need to move it higher.

3 - I think that one of our client has about 40 there. So why not.
