ILUG2007 Call for Abstracts!

Ok guys.  Eileen and I booked the Alexander hotel for the 24th and 25th May.  There will be 2-3 rooms for presenters and we are hoping to get over 150 to the event.  This is going to be FREE to attend and will have some of the best speakers in the business.  So that we can start to advertise and look for sponsors, I need to get confirmations on who is willing to come over and spend a long weekend in Dublin... seeing sights... etc etc etc.

So... lots of you guys said you would present this year, I am looking for a brief abstract (or 2 or 3) and confirmation that you can attend.   After that, we start to raise money and plan the event.    Please send me an email saying what you would like to present on... just a few lines will do.  I promise it will be a great weekend!  In addition, we are going to get a good rate on rooms in the hotel, and have pre-booked some to confirm the rate.  Let me know if you are interested in booking a room there!

1 - Last years event was such a great success, in terms of the quality and quantity of the impressive speakers who turned up to speak, and the number of folks that turned out to attended. This years event should be even better, being so close to the launch of Notes & Domino 8.

ILUG 2006 left such an impression upon me last year -- it was really the kick in the ar$e that I needed to get me more motivated and blogging again!

So, as posted within the comments over on Bill's blog entry about this, I'll be there to support the cause in what ever way I can.
