Time Machine on the Mac

Just a "for the record" statement. Time Machine does not backup VM's well. I learnt that the hard way. Bill told me this is well discussed on the Mac blogs, but I dont read them. Lots of people moving to Macs that use the most excellent VMWare fustion - just be aware of this guys.....

The VMDK doesn't even get backed up in it's entirety? My Parallels one does as I saw it on my Time Capsule.

Restoring from backup is sort of boolean it either does or does not
I await the results of testing with more than passing interest (you never know I might get round to testing it myself)
