En route to UKLUG

Category
Currently on BMI flight from Belfast to London Heathrow, which will be followed by the Heathrow express and a couple of tube stops before getting to the hotel.  The crew from UKLUG are already there, packing and organising at their own time and expense for your event.  Memories of the work involved from ILUG come back very quickly, and although I had a helping hand in UKLUG, this one is Warren's baby.  The agenda is excellent, with a compromise of business sessions, case studies and technical sessions.  I have a camera with me so I'm sure flickr will get involved throughout the 2 days.  Get ready to gear  yourself up for long days of work, and the occasional drink.  Bill and I have a few drinks to catch up on, and need to plan our submission for Lotusphere.  John Head is already there, and will as ever valiantly try to make it look like Americans can drink (Us Europeans find that amusing).  The Collaboration University bunch are hanging on just to help out and speak.  Bob Balaban is hosting a European version of Gurupalooza.  Ed Brill has flown over to give the Keynote.  Blackberry and Symantec have been excellent for us.   BE Systems will be sponsoring breakfast on the Friday morning, so bring your hangover with you!  As ever with the user group events, you get to see a bunch of people that are not only excellent in their trade, but genuinely willing to help anyone with questions.   ASW's with a conscience, so to speak ;) .
Looking forward to seeing everyone there.  Please come up an say hi during the event.

1 - Please don't judge the rest of us, Americans, by John's drinking abilities. That just hurts.
