I got a present today...

QuickImage Category

In fact the present was so big... I had to collect it from my local post office.  Here is a picture of the box that barely fit into my car (with my dogs nearby).

A picture named M2

What could be int it?  Its from Scotland?... Its from Warren and Kitty!   So I open and unwrap... and unwrap...and unwrap
and unwrap
and find this...

A picture named M3

We play tricks on each other..  We get each other bad presents.  They have just "upped the game".
Of course...... this does mean war...

2 - Your next gift to the Elsmores must come in a very small package containing a very evil thing. Send them the DVD of MS Vista Beta
RoB

3 - *cough*...
hmmm......
You forgot to add in I was pretty drunk aswell.

4 - Welllll... did you know that he was a Robbie Williams fan?

Yup last Friday , there I was at a Robbie Williams concert , and who did I bump into but? Mr. Mooney . I was rather surprised for a number of reasons ,

1 - 90K people there and I bump into Paul
2 - He was out and about vs. sitting at home in front of his computer
3 - HES A ROBBIE FAN !!! KNEW ALL THE WORDS, begging and borrowing a lighter for Angles.

Who knew ....

5 - Warren and Kitty must have shares in the Post Office !! Hmmm, seeing the dogs in the picture gave me an idea.... but this is meant to be good fun, isn't it, not downright evil ?!

6 - It took about three weeks for it to make it from Scotland to Ireland. I was getting seriously worried that the Post Office had seen through the scam and were less than impressed with our attempt to use them in our scheme!

When we took it to be posted the cashier had to get out a tape measure and check its size. It was nearly too big to be sent by mail!!!!! Now that would have been funny, if we had had to take it home again and re-wrap it in a smaller box

Not only was it a great joke to Paul, but it was a great way of getting rid of all that excess packing that came with our wedding presents!

The funniest bit of all, was the morning Paul received it. W & I were drivng to work and suddently I get a call: "You just think you're so funny don't you girl?" Well, who else could it be? We laughed all the way to work - definitely worth every penny of the postgage costs

Of course, we are now slightly worried about what will happen when we go over for ILUG and what we might get in the post in the future, but it is still definitely worth it.

We have bought the next 'bad present' to take with us to thank our host for his kind hospitality, maybe that'll make an appearance on here soon too....

7 - You sad fecker.

At least have the decency to have your own lighter.
