Americans are voting for another national holiday

Category

Are you going to vote for proposition 3.17?

Comments

1 - Ha! I had no idea about this. It is a bit silly.

2 - This is such a stupid Irish idea. The day after St. Patrick's day should be the new national holiday Emoticon

3 - You mean this isn't a holiday? We never worked that day in Savannah GA.

4 - I've been mislead.

I always thought that 3:17 was ..

"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

Apparently, his Son brought beer and leprechauns! Makes sense! Emoticon

5 - What ... the day of green beer and green rivers is to be a public holiday? Excellent Idea!
I am sure the only reason behind this is to make sure all people go to church that day and that the poor kids who are dragged to the parades by their evil parents don't have to worry about being absent from school.

7 - There are some places, like Butte MT that consider 3/17 a national holiday, although unofficial!!! Open container, parade, men running around all painted green, green beer, corn beef and cabbage...what more can you ask for???? Emoticon
